I’ve made lots of tributes to vinyl packaging and art inspired by music and its graphics.
This piece takes inspiration from a few places…post-punk minimalist art using one or two spot colors, psychedelicsurrealism, and the tricky interplay of positive and negative space elements with multiple perspectives used by MC Escher.
Music has helped a lot of ideas bloom for me, so there’s that too.
